Lydia Kenny
Lydia is a saxophonist and multi-instrumentalist actor-musician particularly interested in cross-arts interdisciplinary work, including dance, poetry, theatre, stage combat and visual arts.
Lydia is also a keen advocate of community-based and social arts.
Lydia is currently studying on the Guildhall Artist Masters Programme with John Harle at Guildhall School of Music & Drama, as a Guildhall Scholar, after graduating with a first-class BASc degree in Arts and Sciences at University College London.
Lydia is a founding member of the Bauhaus Saxophone Quartet and plays alto saxophone in the Bauhaus Saxophones and the Bauhaus Band, led by John Harle.
Lydia is delighted to be nominated for the Charles Parker Audio Award 2023 for her documentary audio piece 'Family Tree'. You can listen on Radio 4 Extra here. Lydia previously won the HearSay International Rising Award 2021 with 'Chameleon'.
